Campaign analytics

Email campaign deliverability analytics

Fixing SPF, DKIM and DMARC is the start. Connect Resend, Amazon SES, Loops or Helo and MailVakt shows what happens after you press send: delivery, bounces and complaints, plus opens and clicks where tracking is available. Get incidents when rates cross your thresholds and collection is complete.

Free · Collection starts when you connect · Delivered means accepted by the recipient server

Sends, delivered and bounces

See how many messages you sent, how many the recipient server accepted, and how many hard-bounced, per campaign and per day.

Complaints and incidents

Track spam complaints, and get an incident when delivery, bounce or complaint rates cross thresholds you set for the workspace.

Opens and clicks

Unique opens and clicks per delivered message, plus totals, wherever your provider reports them.

Recipient timeline

Look up one recipient and see what happened to the messages sent to them: sent, delivered, bounced, opened or clicked.

How it works

From connection to first numbers

  1. 1

    Create a workspace

Sign in and create a workspace. Invite teammates as owner, admin or viewer. Owners and admins connect providers; viewers read reports.

  2. 2

    Connect a sending provider

Connect Resend with OAuth, Amazon SES with a CloudFormation template in your AWS account, or Loops and Helo by adding a webhook URL and saving its signing secret.

  3. 3

    Send as usual

New events flow in once setup is complete. Resend and SES use campaign tags or subject rules. Helo uses campaign metadata or subject rules. Loops groups messages by their existing campaign, workflow or transactional template.

  4. 4

    Watch for incidents

Set delivery, bounce and complaint thresholds and a minimum number of sends. Confirm event coverage; incomplete or stale collection suppresses incident conclusions.

What the numbers mean

  • Delivered means the recipient’s mail server accepted the message. It does not mean the message reached the inbox rather than the spam folder.
  • Collection starts when you connect a provider. MailVakt does not backfill earlier sends.
  • Opens and clicks depend on your provider’s tracking. Apple Mail privacy features and link scanners can inflate or hide them, so treat them as a trend, not a headcount.
  • A message sent to several recipients can make some events ambiguous. MailVakt marks those rather than guessing which recipient an event belongs to.
  • Detailed events are kept for 30 days. Daily totals are kept for 12 months.

Frequently asked questions

Which providers does MailVakt campaign analytics support?
Resend, Amazon SES, Loops and Helo. Loops supports campaigns, workflows and transactional emails. Each provider has its own setup guide.
Does it cost anything?
Campaign analytics is free to use. Domain checks and inbox tests are free too.
Does MailVakt show whether my emails reach the inbox?
No. Providers report whether the recipient server accepted a message, not which folder it landed in. MailVakt reports that accepted-by-server figure as delivered and does not claim inbox placement.
Can I see data from before I connected?
No. Collection starts at connection and there is no historical backfill.
How long is data kept?
Detailed events are available for 30 days, and daily totals for 12 months.
Can my team use the same workspace?
Yes. Workspaces support owner, admin and viewer roles, and members join through invitations.

Fix this from ChatGPT or Claude

MailVakt is an MCP server, so your assistant can run this check itself, read the findings and walk you through the DNS edit. Ask it:

“Use MailVakt to check my sending domain, then explain which authentication problems could hurt my campaign delivery.”
  • Claude: Customize → Connectors → Add custom connector, then paste https://mcp.mailvakt.com/mcp.
  • Cursor and other MCP clients: add the same address as an MCP server. Setup details.

Checks are free and need no account. Sign in only to collect DMARC reports for a domain.
