DMARC checker

Check DMARC for your domain and see how to move safely to enforcement.

Just the part after the @. Free, no sign-up, and the result gets a shareable link.

DMARC tells receivers what to do with mail that fails SPF and DKIM alignment, and where to send aggregate reports. Gmail and Yahoo require a DMARC record for bulk senders, and only an enforced policy (quarantine or reject) stops spoofing.

MailVakt parses p, sp, pct, adkim, aspf and rua, verifies external report destinations, checks whether your senders will align, and suggests a staged rollout: none, then quarantine at 25 percent, then reject.

Questions

Is p=none enough?
p=none only monitors. It satisfies the Gmail and Yahoo requirement to publish DMARC, but spoofed mail is still delivered. Move to quarantine and reject once reports show your senders pass.
What is a rua address?
It is where receivers send daily aggregate reports. Sign in to MailVakt and add your domain to get a rua address and a 7-day summary of who sends as you.

Fix this from ChatGPT or Claude

MailVakt is an MCP server, so your assistant can run this check itself, read the findings and walk you through the DNS edit. Ask it:

“Check DMARC for example.com, tell me whether my senders will align, and give me the next safe policy step.”
  • Claude: Settings → Connectors → Add custom connector, then paste https://mcp.mailvakt.com/mcp.
  • Cursor and other MCP clients: add the same address as an MCP server. Setup details.

Checks are free and need no account. Sign in only to collect DMARC reports for a domain.
