Checks and inbox tests work without an account. Sign in when your assistant asks, to add domains and read DMARC summaries.

Common questions

My fix did not change the grade. DNS changes can take up to the record’s TTL to appear. Use “Run a fresh check” on the report to skip caches.

No DMARC reports yet. Receivers send reports about once a day, only after your DMARC record includes your MailVakt address.

“Too many checks”. Each domain can be checked 10 times a minute. Wait a minute and try again.

My inbox test stays pending. An accepted message can take up to 10 minutes to process; if processing fails, the test page says so. MailVakt’s mail servers also refuse messages that fail SPF and carry no DKIM signature, and messages that fail the sender’s own DMARC policy, so those never reach the test. In that case turn on DKIM signing in your sending service, or fix your SPF record. Each test address accepts one message and expires after 30 minutes, so after a failure or an expiry do not resend: start a new test.
