Email deliverability test

Find out why your emails are going to spam, and what to change.

Just the part after the @. Free, no sign-up, and the result gets a shareable link.

Mailbox providers decide between inbox and spam using authentication (SPF, DKIM, DMARC), domain setup, sender reputation and message content. Since 2024 Gmail and Yahoo also require aligned authentication and one-click unsubscribe for bulk senders.

This check grades your domain across SPF, DKIM, DMARC, alignment, MX, BIMI, MTA-STS and TLS-RPT and gives you copy-paste fixes. To test a real message as well, use the inbox test: send an email to a one-time address and get the headers and content analysed.

Questions

Why are my emails going to spam even though SPF passes?
SPF alone is rarely enough: DMARC needs SPF or DKIM to align with your From domain, and many providers want DKIM. Content, links and missing unsubscribe headers matter too; the inbox test checks those.
Do I need an account?
No. Checks and inbox tests are free and anonymous. An account is only needed to collect DMARC reports for your domains.

Fix this from ChatGPT or Claude

MailVakt is an MCP server, so your assistant can run this check itself, read the findings and walk you through the DNS edit. Ask it:

“Run a full deliverability check on example.com and tell me, in priority order, why my emails might be going to spam.”
  • Claude: Settings → Connectors → Add custom connector, then paste https://mcp.mailvakt.com/mcp.
  • Cursor and other MCP clients: add the same address as an MCP server. Setup details.

Checks are free and need no account. Sign in only to collect DMARC reports for a domain.
