Talk through your email settings with Claude

Give Claude live email DNS findings to work with. Ask follow-up questions, compare the proposed fixes, and get a clear explanation you can share with whoever manages your domain.

Free public checks · No DNS access needed · You stay in control of changes

Ask Claude to explain failures and help prioritize the problems that could affect delivery.

Get a fix you can review

Get proposed record names and values. MailVakt does not edit DNS; you apply approved changes at your provider.

Get connected

Set up MailVakt in Claude

Use a Claude plan with custom connectors. On Team and Enterprise, an authorized owner or administrator must add the connector before members can enable it.

  1. Open Customize → Connectors in Claude, then Add → Add custom connector. For a managed organization, add it through Organization settings → Connectors.
  2. Name it MailVakt and paste the server URL below. Review the detected authentication settings; use sign-in when needed and automatic OAuth registration for account features.
  3. Finish adding the connector, then enable MailVakt from the conversation’s connectors menu and ask for a domain check.

Questions

Does this need a local Claude Desktop server?
No. MailVakt is a hosted remote connector. Add its URL through your Claude account; there is no local server or package to run.
Will MailVakt change my DNS or send email as me?
No. Domain checks read public DNS and return findings and suggested fixes. You make any DNS edits yourself. For an inbox test, you send a message to a temporary test address; MailVakt does not send it for you.
Does fixing these records guarantee inbox placement?
No. Authentication is one part of deliverability. Sender reputation, message content and recipient behavior also matter. MailVakt helps you find and address configuration problems.
